This page explains the general license position for digital products from Toolana Store, whether paid or free. It applies unless the product itself includes a different license.
The product's own license comes first
A product may carry its own license terms, shown on the product page or included as a license file in the download. Where a product's own license differs from this page, the product's license is what applies to that product.
If a product does not state its own license, the general terms below apply.
What you may do
Unless the product's own license grants more:
- You may use the product for your own personal purposes, or for the internal purposes of the single business or organization that obtained it.
- You may keep copies for your own backup and reuse.
- Where the product is an editable template, you may adapt and customize it for that same use.
What is not granted
These limits apply to both paid and free products. A free product is not in the public domain. No resale, private-label, PLR, MRR, or master-resale rights are granted by default. Do not assume that a product may be resold or redistributed commercially unless its own license says so.
Unless the product's own license explicitly grants it, you may not:
- redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the product or any file in it;
- share, publish, or upload the files anywhere others can obtain them, including file-sharing services, template marketplaces, course materials, or public repositories;
- include the product, or a lightly modified version of it, in another product that you distribute or sell;
- pass the product to a separate business, client, or team as if it were their own licensed copy;
- claim the product as your own original work, or register it as your own intellectual property.
Work you create with a template
Where you adapt an editable template, the document, design, or file you produce is yours to use within the rights above. The underlying template, and any assets supplied with it, stay covered by this page and by the product's own license.
One consequence is worth stating plainly: producing your own work from a template does not create a right to distribute the template itself.
Third-party components
A product may include fonts, images, icons, or other components licensed from third parties. Those components keep their own license terms, which can be stricter than this page, and those terms apply to them.
If a license is unclear
If you are not sure whether a particular use is allowed, ask before you rely on it. Use the contact page and name the product and the use you have in mind. A written answer from us is more reliable than an assumption.
If these terms are breached
Using a product outside the rights granted for it is a breach of these terms. Where that happens we may withdraw download access for the product, and the rights granted for that copy end.
